Plastic Card and Plastic Keytag Design Templates
BELOW ARE "PDF" VERSIONS OF OUR
PLASTIC CARD AND KEYTAG TEMPLATES
PLEASE SEND YOUR ART AS A HIGH QUALITY "PDF" FILE
PDF is the preferred format for sending us your artwork. The PDF files should have the fonts embedded and be a high quality PDF for high resolution printing. PDF files should be saved for "Printing Press" as CMYK and not for "web" RGB mode.
We do not accept QuarkXpress or InDesign files with your fonts as attached files. Please send us a PDF of your design. If you need to send an EPS file, please create OUTLINES of ALL TEXT and save as an Adobe Illustrator .EPS file. This will insure that there are no problems faithfully reproducing your design.
YOU CAN ALSO SEND YOUR ART AS A PHOTOSHOP "PSD" FILE
For best results with your Adobe Photoshop file, sending us your original "layered" file is recommended. We also accept flattened TIFF and PSD images, but keep in mind, we will not be able to edit anything on non-layered artwork files. Please see our Photoshop® design template for dimesion specifics. Save as CMYK mode as a highest quality .psd
Digital f ormats that are acceptable for sending us your art:
PDF, PSD, JPG, TIF, CDR, AI, EPS
YOU CAN HAVE BACKGROUND IMAGES OR COLOR BLEEDS
Set up the bleed for background images or colors that you want color all the way to the edge of the card. ("Bleed" just means -make the artwork for these areas slightly bigger than the final trimmed card so that the color "bleeds" over the die cut line.) Due to cutting variances, card designs with a "framed border" are NOT recommended. A possible slight shift in cutting will cause the printed frame border to appear off center or uneven.
If you will be mailing your artwork:
For logos and artwork provide large, clean art to insure the highest quality plastic card. We scan images/photographs sent by mail up to 8.5" wide X 11" high.
If you are scanning your artwork yourself and sending a digital copy by email:
Images should be scanned at 600 dpi or greater at a minimum size of 3.6" wide X 2.1" high and saved in CMYK format as high-quality
